I setup to record myself playing a new tune called Pretend... mostly to test my new vintage RCA ribbon microphone!

This song is about digging to the bottom of who you are.

Live at the Walnut House (Studio) in Murfreesboro, TN a few weeks ago.

Four Letter Word is about being in a love hate relationship... where you want so bad to say two completely opposite things at the same time.

"See I wonder, why I'm missing, what I haven't seen in weeks. And if seeing is believing, I believe I've just seen. Your eyes like the sunrise, awaken what sleeps, I'd define in one line, if it wouldn't feel cheap"

About the Artist

You can never be beside yourself: Leonardo da Vinci wrote "The painter must be solitary. . . . For if you are alone you are completely yourself, but if you are accompanied by a single companion you are half yourself." I may not use brush or oil to relay my thoughts and feelings, but I am a painter by means of words. I write in solitude, away from life. It gives me the ability to put myself completely inside what I’m creating. I can escape the world.
